Triggers and Rulesets
How to configure the core components of a campaign.
Triggers and rulesets control how users engage with your campaign and are added to your audience, as well as the auto-reply they will receive for performing certain actions.

Setting up the Campaign Auto-Responses

    Click into the campaign
Click on the rulesets tab at the top
Your campaign will come with a default like/retweet ruleset, so you'll need to fill in the details

Single Trigger Tweet

Make sure you have the URL to your trigger tweet handy
NOTE: If the response you want to send has a twitter card or media, create it in Twitter Media Studio or the Ads Platform and have it ready to import
Click "Import Tweet" under the "if" component at the top of the ruleset, and import the trigger tweet (the tweet you want users to engage with)
Paste in the tweet URL and click import

If you want to have just a like campaign, set the condition to be 'is liked'
If you want to have just a retweet campaign, set the condition to be 'is retweeted'
If you only want a single response to the tweet, click the add response button
Either import a tweet or manually set the response. Make sure to include the opt-out hashtag (normally #stop)
    Hit "Save ruleset"

Importing Media & Cards For Your Tweet Responses

You can use any forms of media or cards in replies. You need to have a dark (or organic) post to the tweet to include it. Click into the response and hit edit then click the Import Tweet button.

Once you've imported the media and saved it, you should see a view like the below.

Multiple Trigger Tweets

Make sure you have the URLs to your dark tweets handy
If the response you want to send has a twitter card or media, create it in Twitter Media Studio or the Ads platform and have it ready to import
Click the New button and then choose a new Like/Retweet Auto-Reply, creating a separate ruleset for each trigger tweet you're using
Give the rule a name to differentiate it and import the trigger tweet
If you want to have just a like campaign, set the condition to be 'is liked'
If you want to have just a retweet campaign, set the condition to be 'is retweeted'
Fill in the tweet copy response to match your response data, either import a tweet or manually set the response. Make sure to include the opt-out hashtag (normally #stop)
    Hit "Save ruleset"

Multiple Responses

If you want to have a single trigger with multiple responses, you'll need to change your ruleset to include multiple response support
Edit the ruleset and in the response component delete the single response by clicking the red trash can
Click the "Add Action" drop down and then choose "Send random response"
Add as many responses as you like to the individual rule, by clicking "Add Response"
